i don't do paypal though. i'd gladly mail a money order though.

"desert" tank options

what are my options if i do the AF conversion on my GEN4 CRF450X frame? since it's a street driven motard, i need as large of tank as i can possibly get. the ones i really want are either the acerbis 4.7 or 6.6 gallor (both store fuel where the radiator shrouds are), but i can guess that neither of ...

a few steelie questions (will be a plated motard)

i might be buying a 94 CR500 soon, and have a couple options, and even more questions. i can guess that the AF would probobly excel when compared to a 94 SF, but by how much? i ask because i can't decide whether i want to just throw some motard wheels and a light kit on it so i can get it plated (i ...

sadly, i think i'm gonna look into doing the gen4 build since i can get more money for my 450 motor. i don't know what the 00 CR250 motor is worth, but if i can get a title for it, that's my other option. i appreciate all the replies.

i run a 140/80/18 michelin S12 soft terrain tire on my CR250 for trails. i ran it on my 450X before i converted it into a motard. hooks up pretty dang good. they make it in a 130 for a 19 inch wheel. they also make the M12 intermediate terrain tire in 130 for a 19" wheel

so on the 02, you have to modify the Y on the frame, the front motor mounts, headstay, exhaust, and possibly the radiators?

what else is required when converting the 06?

soooo, what year frame takes the least fabwork?

i'm really wanting to build a street driven CR500AF supermotard, and have wanted to for a long time now. i have a 06 CRF450X supermotard (already plated), and a 00 CR250 (would have to get the title, major PITA). would either of those bikes be an easy conversion, or would it be less expensive/easier...

i've lurked a bit for a while, but want to build a CR500AF next year sometime. it'll be a supermotard, that will see the sand once or twice a year. i have two choices, build it from my current motard (06 CRF450X), or my current trail bike (00 CR250). the downfall of the CR250 is that i'd have to get...
