Just this one. It's weird it has hairline cracks all around the skirt and the pipe was coated in aluminum dust. The crank is tight, same with the rod. No play at all, smooth spinning by hand and no debris in the crankcase, most of it went out the pipe at WOT. https://bannedcr500riders.com/images/aut...

Well shit that's good to hear. When I get this thing put back together we'll have to go for a rip brit, coppercity and calico are within a tank from my place. What pipe do you run? I need a new one. Got it pulled apart and the wiseco cracked a skirt and vaporized it into aluminum dust and melted it ...

"race" port reliability?
I just grenaded my top end finally, and it's time for a rebuild. My question is for you guys that are running Glenn's race port, how long do they last? I ride primarily open desert/dunes And need more top end but I don't want to sacrifice reliability (it was a long walk to the truck when this motor ...

I wonder if at only 35 watts if the moose lighting coil would keep that battery charged enough? Their part# is 2111=0074 rated at 45w. Maybe with the battery and coil it would work? $100 isn't bad. I bet it would be fine if it's a DC lighting coil. My riding buddy needs a partner for the nightrace,...

Kragen HID+walmart battery= nightrides!
By the time I get home from work it's dark, so I haven't been riding as much as usual and that sucks. I have a set of kragen HID's (They were on sale for $99 a piece) on my truck and they have done well in the desert. I can't afford the baja designs kit right now, so this is just a temporary setup, ...

yeah plus about the time you think you have it tuned a storm will move in, the temp will drop 20 degrees and it will run totally different. Lots of other things factor into the equation, like ambient air temp, mix ratio, fuel used, filter cleanliness, weather it's hanging to the left or the right, e...

Dude you have to change your username now, lol. Did you get the bottom part of the sheet with the air fuel ratios? I'm just curious what afr these motors like to run. I have a wideband but no idea what to tune to. Most cars put out the most power around 12.5:1 (naturally aspirated) and are most effi...

I guess its all about traction Ive sen 8000hp cars run only 10 sec 1/4 miles... That's the truth. The first time I ran him I had stock gearing, a bald tire (running 5 psi), a dented up pipe and uber-rich jetting and it was pretty close, it mostly came down to who got the jump on the other gu...

Well its a great time of year to get stationed out there with fall coming. Calico and Rainbow basin are very senic places to ride. Throw a paddle on there and head out to Dumont. See Dumont thread. I can't make it. And welcome. I think I have to regear to ride Calico without smoking a clutch, it ge...

I'm in the Army, just got stationed out at Fort Irwin near Barstow and picked up a 93 to rip around the desert on. I've been overseas for a few years and grew up riding, but I'm a little rusty. I have always wanted a 500 and I got a great deal on it ($1500 with fresh top end and desert tank) and thi...
