I learned in genetics class the other day that there is a population of turtles that is becoming extinct and the only reason they can come up with is (slight) global warming. Turtle sex (male or female that is) like many other species, is determined by temperature. With the temperature being slightl...

The handlebar switches dont have a common ground...I have to make one and ground everything through it right? 3. Where can I get brake sensors to trigger the brake light? (li...

I do know a 85 n 86 shock will work and that the shock is a major week link on a 84. A 85 86 shock is better in than a 88 in the regard that it has a remote resavoir. But the 88 has a piggy back RES so I do not kNOW if it will work. I have the stuff in the garage but it would take some serious digg...

Cool, thanks for the quick responses! That gives me a huge range to find for the rears I need. There looks to be plenty of them on ebay at any given time, too. I like the 979899 CR 250 brake set up for rear it helps the bike alot when brake sliding. The 97-99 CR250 has a different diameter rotor (s...

I just got a CRF250 shock off of ebay for my 97cr250. I was going to change out the bottom clevis but then it would have been way too short. It is less then 1/4 inch longer then my CR250 shock so I just installed it. Looks good and fit perfect. I dont do anything too crazy so it should work out perf...

Here is the link to the moose pdf of ignitions... http://www.mooseracing.com/pdf/ignition.pdf The newer CR250s put out 60W which is better; but the older ones put out 80W. there is a new one on ebay for a 99-01 that is for only $99 buy it now. I would go that route but I think I would rather have th...

I still dont see why a 250 ignition cant be used...there is an 80W system for the 89-92 and 93-96 CR250 that includes a stator and plate. Then all you might need is the CDI, coil and flywheel off of a 250 from those years. This is something I might look into trying. Of course it would need to be mas...
