Rode hard and I tend to disagree with political stuff and he tends to miss the bigger picture, however I have to agree with him on that.

Don't get me wrong Brit surly we have an impact but its like one or two drops in a five gallon bucket.

Hey you want to see some shit? Watch this; However its nearly two hours long. Blow off the first five minutes cause this will knock your socks off if you can handle it.

Carefull Jay this turns the Christian faith upside down. Its not about hate, just how things really are. Sorry bud.

There is direct corralation between the industrial age and the massive amounts of carbon currently in our atmosphere, if you think that doesnt have an effect you are missing something big.

This might be a perfect example of the shit education system you guys have :(

Vegitation takes carbon from the air and stores it, in the last 300 years we have burnt billions of tons of stored carbon in the form of wood, oil, gas and coal. Most of that carbon released is now up in the atmosphere instead of being underground, are you seriously telling me that is a drop??? Not to mention all the other shit thats floating around.

Have you seen the brown cloud that covers almost any major city?

Im utterly speechless at how blind some people are.

Ok BritGORE!!! :D :D
You do realize there is 1...yes 1 volcanic vent in africa that dumps out more SO2 than man kind could ever hope to dump out. Don't get me wrong, I like a clean place to live and am 100% for alternative fuels (infact I'm working on making my own biodiesel) but for us to think we are powerful enough to change the earths climate is a bit pompus at the least.
I forget the details, but there was a volcano down south somewhere that lowered the whole earths temp by a full degree for a few years. These things have been happening for 4.5 billion years. Our planet goes through natural cycles, and heating right now is one of them.
As far as smoggy cities go, yes, we can make enough to make a city yucky looking, but it still a fraction at best of what the plant puts out on its own.
Most valleys were naturally smoggy before we ever got here, the rancho cucamonga area has been smoggy since the natives lived there. natural fires and the valley effect trap it in.

I probably should have read that whole thread on the other board before I posted and said that same thing, but yeah...
The funny thing is there isn't even any proof that it is getting warmer, infact on average it was warmer in the 1930s

funny thing is this is a hot topic in my house, we get to yelling at the dinner table and throwing stuff around debating on global warming and gun control. since my dad moved in with us I've had someone to back me up! LOL
My wife also thinks making all guns illegal would somehow stop criminals from owning them illegally and shooting people. She also thinks we don't need guns for protection... :D :D

"Most of the people here have jobs that are very well paid and they depend on the idea that carbon emissions cause global warming. They are not going to be very receptive to the idea that well actually the science has gone off in a different direction," Evans explained.

Yup....

I'm old, and remember allot of stuff that was supposed to kill us all...

Nuclear attack from the Russians

California sliding off into the ocean

Killer Bee's swarming us all

The Exxon Valdez ruined Alaska FOREVER!

Skin Cancer from a hole in the Ozone

Prolly' a hundred other thing'sI have forgot...

Carbon is the newest one.

..... follow the money trail.
