I used oven cleaner to de-carbon a head and it ate it straight off, dont know what it would to to the chroming if you got it on the out side? But maybe try a few soakingings by just spraying it inside?

Nice job, but I wonder if flowing too much water will be worse for cooling? Maybe the water will flow through before it has a chance to transfer the heat into the radiator? Not saying it will but just a thought? Because your cooling surface is just the same.

Hey, didnt you say you are running a 98 or 99 ignition? If so are you going to try the power jet funtion on this carby? It would be cool to see if it did much on wide open sections.

I just got back my bored PWK and Trailport jug and piston from Glen, man his work is beautiful, you can tell he takes allot of pride in what he does. I cant wait to get it all back together, I also have a 250 ignition to fit, a 98 digital.

It seems even the loudest 2 strokes dont carry sound like open 4 strokes do, I wonder why? Maybe compression? Volumetric effeciency? Maybe just the refraction of the pipe bouncing the noise back into the cylinder???
