I used oven cleaner to de-carbon a head and it ate it straight off, dont know what it would to to the chroming if you got it on the out side? But maybe try a few soakingings by just spraying it inside?

Hey fellas, anyone with experience with these? http://www.thunderproducts.com/thunder_powerjet.htm A good thing or snake oil? If they work, it apeals to me as I ride from 5000 to 12000 feet. Be nice to lean out as you go up, or fatten up in heavy thick stuff. :wink:

Nice job, but I wonder if flowing too much water will be worse for cooling? Maybe the water will flow through before it has a chance to transfer the heat into the radiator? Not saying it will but just a thought? Because your cooling surface is just the same.

Hey, didnt you say you are running a 98 or 99 ignition? If so are you going to try the power jet funtion on this carby? It would be cool to see if it did much on wide open sections.

I just got back my bored PWK and Trailport jug and piston from Glen, man his work is beautiful, you can tell he takes allot of pride in what he does. I cant wait to get it all back together, I also have a 250 ignition to fit, a 98 digital. :twisted:

Clear powder coat polished frame??

So have any of you fellas polished your alloy frame and had it clear powder coated? Did it work out OK, any tips? Im wanting to bead blast the frame, pollish the outer frame rails and swingarm outer rails and never touch it again. :D

It seems even the loudest 2 strokes dont carry sound like open 4 strokes do, I wonder why? Maybe compression? Volumetric effeciency? Maybe just the refraction of the pipe bouncing the noise back into the cylinder???

The output shaft for the chain drive is on the other side, will all that clear OK? Can you just turn a hub around and drive it in the opposite direction? I cant see why not? I think it would be awesome, I love the old Kater big bores, I have 2 :lol:
