I don't have a clue what the numbers mean, but here is the part number from a KTM. I think they are cheaper than Honda.

Change back to the cable clutch, and see if it's the same. Maybe it has nothing to do with the Magura.

A guy selling a 02-09 set of DNA wheels says they will fit the 00-01 if you use the newer style rear brake disk. He doesn't mention anything about the front. You should be safe if you have the old style front axle and spacer.

I just did an edit. I know 97 has an extra wire to the carb, and i'm pretty sure 97-98 are similar. I have an 00 ignition on my bike, so I know they just need machining, no wiring changes. 97-01 requires machining to make the stator fit. 97-01 have an extra wire to the carb. 02-07 have extra wires a...

No, not really. I did find some information on a karting site, but I didn't bookmark it.

97-01 requires machining to make the stator fit. 97-98 have an extra wire to the carb. 02-07 have extra wires also, I don't know what they are for. Maybe a power valve or TPS? 97 and newer are digital, I don't know if this makes them better or worse.

I took off my 00 CR250 ignition and put this one on a couple of days ago. I can't feel a power difference but I had to turn my idle down with this ignition. It still starts first kick, if you kick it right.

97 is better in my opinion. The 87 has issues with the pipe hitting the reed and the coolant hose. 97 has a stronger clutch also.

I just got me Clarke 3.2. I had to heat it slightly around the plug. I should of did it more, but I ran out of time because I'm going riding tomorrow. It's a pretty tight fit around the coil and rad hose, and I have to remove the tank to change the plug. I don't care for the way the shrouds fit also.

CRF seat on a CR chassis?

Will a CRF seat fit on a Gen III frame? I know the 00-07 CR uses the same seat, but will an early 450 seat bolt up to this chassis?
