Image does the end of the spring supposed to be bent like that?

Image the washer on the outside was missing along with the next one in.

nice, did you replace all the bearings at the same time?
that spring isn't supposed to look like that... :lol:

its strait since it goes into a strait hole in the case don't forget to index that ratched assembly and don't forget the 2 washers that go on that shaft, without them then kicker gear will bind up on the clutch gear.

tats what= I thought. yeah I got he washers. how does the trans look? did ya get the water elbow? and I remembered to make sure the marks are aligned.

the trans looks good from what I can see, but the problem areas are the dogs and cogs where the tabs coming out the side go into the next gear, if any of that is rounded off, you have problems. From what I can see they look good.

yeah i looked at the dogs or whatever the blocks that go into the next gear. they look nice and are not rounded at all. i ordered a new waterpump shaft because the shaft was worn a little from the seals. and i got new seals because i put them in backwards. haha but i had to order the two washers on the main trans shaft. the outermost washer and the one under the last gear were not there. hummm i pulled the gear out a bit to show where im talkinig about. and no i didnt change the bearings. i know im gonna get shit for it but they look new and the bottom end had been gone threw recently before i bought the motor. the case seals were all brand new. i will straighten the spring asap

thank you. it all started wth a man and a dream....ok and a bottle of vodka and some painkillers. haha I am proud of it and I think it will sit in the teemtrouble converted frame nicely. I am gonna change the cyliner nuts though.
