As far as I know its the 6061 T6,same as what everyone makes the new frame rails from.Didnt you mention Atlas metals has that stuff in Kal ? Cant say for sure,thats just through the grapevine.....

That bashplate,or skidplate is a nice piece of work.Id be happy to have fabricated that myself.For the extra couple a hundred grams over an alloy plate....you wouldnt notice it it unless your name is Chad,James,Ryan....

Just curious about how this decomp works.Might sound like a dumb question.....Do you use that to push through to TDC to then kick it,or do you pull it in as you kick it and let it out halfway through the kick ?

Get yourself a stainless wire brush.Works great on the ally bits like suspension linkages.Carbon brushes will impregnate the alloy and look like poo.

You have to have the sprockets aligned,no choice in that.But I had a look on mine and the exhaust looks central to the Y to me.I used one original spacer but on the other side,and a spacer from a CR 125 (59 mm ??) I think it was.
