I confess the check engine light has been on and while I hope it might be a sensor problem, my gut says bad cat or worse, two bad cats. The f**king clowns that run CA on our behalf have of course ensured that the cost of a CA-compliant part is 5 times more expensive than a 49-State part...

Catalytic converter replacement...

So I take the Toyota Tundra in for its first smog test and it fails. Computer code suggests that the catalytic converter is below par emissions-wise. I need to take it back to have the converter specifically tested. So how long should a cat last - 105K miles and 7 years or longer. And where's the be...

I have found the best method is to call Brit on his cell and have him stand in the middle of the road. I mean how many other people are going to be wandering around with a beer and a ciggy at 06:00 AM? I also think you turn left (West) onto Coronado Road from the 395 and then look on the right-hand ...

Hey i just found this on racer x.com. "The WORCS team is running the event to make it safer yet still have all the cool things that the ADGP has always had. The water jump, lots of spectators, technical logs section" Is that true? I don't know how to ride over logs. I guess you just do it...

The transponder normally costs $10. You don't pay a deposit so much as leave your driving license or a credit card as security. Don't sweat the where to go stuff.

Also how did you grind off the stuffers (?) from the stock reed mount to get the V-Force to fit? You can cut it off "freestyle" with a die grinder, or do it the way V-Force suggests... https://bannedcr500riders.com/images/auto/7c7b0983290b5a59ff7bb41f7468a3d4.jpg You assemble the OEM stuf...

The dished head bolts do look like Ti, but did you use Ti for non-stressed use? Your vintage restorations lead me to suspect pockets bottomless but this might kill me with envy. Also how did you grind off the stuffers (?) from the stock reed mount to get the V-Force to fit? I'm installing one now an...

I would love an electric start. My love affair started when I saw a guy holeshot the start of the Adelanto GP a few years back on a e-start Husqvarna. At 5' 7" I dread a dead engine start and have to line up next a kerb for that extra couple of inches to guarantee a 1-kick start. But unless you...

There are two different questions here. The first is the one KTM has already answered. Would you have an electric start at your disposal if you did not have to pay a significant price in terms of cash and weight? Answer: why not - even for a two-stroke. The second is the cost-benefit of fabricating ...

That's pretty awesome. Isn't the Merlin engine the one that made the difference in the Mustang? I'm not really up on it but like most things, I know a little! Wonder what the performance stats are? http://www.acewell-meter.com/ The model is a 37XX and you can download a manual from the web site. Looking in the box I found a plastic mount that the speedo sits in that gives you additional indicators if you want to wire them up (fuel, turn signals etc.) You'll see they provide a Y-shaped mountin...
