Get it to where the pipe fits the frame well..... thats the important issue.....
Getting the cover level will do just that. If he leaves it tilted back the rear pipe mount will be somewhere behind the junction of frame and subframe
and would probably have to relocate the mount on the pipe. Tilting the motor down some more will also get the kick lever off the headstay tab of the frame.
I tried your advice. When I let the motor support on the weld, it levels almost perfect. When I get my mounts milled/welded, I wil file of the weld, so I have e few mm between te motor and the frame

hey mate, matt in aus im just starting one off these conversions i own my own bike shop and them parts in the box you got we in aust have to work for a week to pay for them, with a few more accounts i get [hpoefully from the states] in gonna undercut everyone in this district and tell them to suck on my little chinese nuts, fuckem [im not chinese but i sounds good]
see your doing well with the conversion shes tip top i too am using the linisher on the grinder to clean but there 12 bucks here in aus hope everthing goes well this is one of my first posts but im taking photos of mine to put up for everyone to see soon , see your using the pro x rod kit i hot a lot of race bikes up and use that kit all the time not hot rod shit they havent failed me yet the big problem for my customer he wants it built for outright performance which i think hes got a screw loose , best performane ive seen on the 500 is the bolt ons, exhaust, carb, etc, crank checked, slight changed to the balance factor if needed but my main believe is not to sleeve it to stupid sizes i recon a nickasil bore with a port and a balanced bottom end is the way to go its also got to run on normal fuel which is shit here
do you have any tips i havent read alot of the posts cause im new but anway i love to see the builds and your doing well take it easy matt i will put mine on soon
Need some help guys. The plug and cap numbers don't come up. Anyone have the standard numbers for these? At least the plug. The one I have now is a BR8ECM. The r7282 ain't comin up. Is that a European/Australia part number only? Any ideas/help would be great. I'm in the great white north hockey playin capital of the WORLD! (Canada to the uninformed)
