I simply knocked out the original 97-CR250 collets and remanufactured them with the required materiale added.

That is exactly what I did, except mine were out of a 01 CR500 and I had 5mm added to each one. ( made of S/S the new ones )

The bike uses the Std swingarm bushes, which means Std part# for the bike.

I thought I had lost mine, found them about 30 minutes ago, I had put them in a safe place.

The safe place was in the engine cases where they should be, just forgot I put them there, it was that long ago.

Top job with your spacers though asteroid500, no small spacer parts to fall out and lose when you pull out your swingarm bolt.

The engine bushes / spacers I had made cost me $50 and were made of S/S.

This dude cost a bit more, I could find a cheaper bloke to get more made.

be careful when putting s/s and aluminiun together it causes electrolosis and the ali will corrode

Good point! Just look at your chain adjusters for proof! What a royal pain that can be! Spacers look good BTW! They should work on Gen2 as well!

This is my kit,
simular to the one's in the drawings on this site availible in the USA.
(they were'nt availible to me at the time i had these made)
My cousin made them for me in Melbourne.

I recon he'd spin some up for the Aussie 500 cotingent
