FOR SALE: 2002 CR500AF **green sticker**

Post by Nomadic Cycle Racks »

It has been some time since I posted on here. Unfortunately my next post is regarding my prized 02 AF for sale. Good for you, bad for me! The build can be seen under 'Justins Gen 3 build'...Heres a description of everything...Im asking $4500...located in San Diego.

I built this bike in february 2008 with the combination of a 2002 Honda CR250 chassis and a 1997 CR500 motor. I am a professional fabricator and wanted to make the bike look factory when completed so no corners were cut here. I have received many compliments! Most don't even realize the conversion. All the frame and radiator mods were TIG welded. The engine mounts and head stay are CNC-ed aluminum. I love the bike and have my heart and soul into the build but I am soon buying a condo and could use the money. What can I say other than this bike rips! Absolutely no bugs had to be worked out of the conversion. I did my homework, you won't be disappointed! Top end was fresh last year and still running strong as these big bores do. Currently running steel sprokets with 14/48 gearing. D952 in front, maxxix maxx cross HT 120 in the rear . Also included will be a complete front wheel set up, a new D739 front, and two paddles. Mostly ridden in Ocotillo wells with some glamis trips. No DMV work to be done! Engine numbers and frame VIN match on the title. And because of its green stickered status, the possibility of making it street legal is another whole option! A fair price for an excellent bike. 619-277-6590. -Justin

Bike details: Upper and lower tag tripple clamps with bars, hydraulic clutch with ASV, trail tech computer, ss front brake line, renthal kevlar grips, rad guards, boyesen engine covers, IMS oversize pegs, FMF pipes, black excels with oversize ss spokes in rear, RK o-ring chain, In-line fuel filter, new brake pads fr. and rear, fork seals done last year, billet whip mount.

If you need some extra cash or some plumbing work on your new pad, I got a conversion that needs to be done. I live in LA and am a licensed plumber. If your intersted let me know.
