what would you pay ?

Post by 100hp honda »

i found this 2006 today but im still looking at local classifieds and craigslist and im not in a hurry to buy the first thing i see because i know alot of folks are losing their jobs and desperatly needing money so a real sweet deal will come down the pipe sooner or later :lol: . just wondering what you guys would honestly pay for this bike, assuming you were in the market for a '06 cr250 ? the pipe is fawked up so its ebay resale value now is virtually zero. kind of seems fishy also how you could wreck that bad and not scratch the plastic :? . do you think it was hammered, then resurected with new plastic ?

I don't know in Cali but in Europe you couldn't find this one for less than 4800-4400$ i mean in the normal market,but you was right, when the economy goes down you can find good opportunities ,in fact for the price that you sell one of this i can afford two or three "sometimes"

Second-hand bikes(Europe):

3000$=2.339€(CR 250 2002)

5000$=3899€(CR250 2005)(Maybe less,it depends)

Service-Honda AF 10.000$- 7.800€ HERE(But distribuitors put 10.000€ :lol: )2.800$ More

p.s:I didn't say nothing about pounds

Economy sucks!!

I paid $2.6K for a very clean '04 so I wouldn't be willing to pay much more (if any) for that bike which is basically the same.

i trashed my pipe and radiator in my crash. it only pulled the bolt through the hole on the rad shroud, didnt even tear the plastic. after a bit of cleaning, and a new bolt, you cant even tell.

ill probly pass on this bike. something about it seems fishy. brand spanking new plastic and tires, beat up pipe, after market front rotor, and something funky is with the seat. im not sure the lowball price but im sure they wouldnt go any lower than $3,500 and thats too much

I see your point,in fact in don't trust sellers with new plastics,tires,pipes,handlebars.....and e.g:a crappy seat cover
i mean only when i see the bike first time,after you should start it,etc,etc...wasted foot-pegs and new plastics is a bad option,always.
