GSS porting *pics*

Post by britincali »

Thanks to 100hp honda Im now the proud owner of something that looks very sexy! I cleaned up the ports on my other motor myself and took 2 or so hours to do it, this motor has TONS more material removed and frankly is awsome looking, if it runs half as good as the porting looks im gonna be a happy camper!!!

I called up glen to find out some details and he asks "which pipe do you have" I told him the stocker and he goes "send me the head, the squish band is all wrong for that pipe, It'll take me 20 mins but Ill fix it for ya at no cost"..... this boys and girls sounds like a tuner who is only interested in happy customers and making power. Needless to say the head was back on the UPS truck pronto!

Im really impressed by this jug and by the way glen does business. He gets a big thumbs up from me!

Heres the pics....

Thats some serious alloy removal

The marks on the cyl are just on the surface, it isn't scored.

Im gonna have to spend some time with my stock exhaust manifold and the burr grinder to match it to the jug then run a light ball hone down the cyl and it'll be good to go!

There are 19 small total and 1 intake hole, I think they are for lubrication/cooling.

i would slap it together the way it is, thats just me though. if you run a hone through it, dont get carried away. the wall clearance should be close to .003

And to get more fuel in there.

So there are 8 more on the exhuast side + the 3 for the bridge.
The 8 on the exhaust side, are they drill starts or do they look like the intake side?
