bought a lower end for the right side case got it apart and was checking the rod clearence was over the limit so pressed it apart and found a bad thrust washer it put a little grove in the rod so i was looking at the rod groove and thought i saw a hair till i tried to wipe it away OOOH!!!! crack!!! its at about 9-10 0'clock starts in the bearing journal and runs up the thrust side. there NO WAY!!! anyone would have seen that on the crank, would have put a nice window in someones case for sure im glad i cought it

I think dudes had figured that a new crank was only $60 more than getting a rod on, its mentioned somewhere here, and there was a honda part#
