I'm looking for information on the SH AJ conversions for the gen 3 wishbone. Is it billet like their newer bikes and the TT bikes? Pics would be great.

I'm trying to come up with a list of pros and cons between the SH and TT conversions.
thanks.

I know TT's is more custom bling looking but even still for what $9499.00 should there not be more attention to looks considering your supposed to be buying a New CR500AF and not a "Fab" shop conversion,I don't even know how to weld but looking at both pieces thats what came to my head, maybe its just the placement of the welds,I don't know?AlisoBob wrote:I wouldnt say that. I would say it looks like something a "Fab" shop would make, and that the TTM piece looks like a custom make part.kkvslayer wrote:... that Gen 4 SH look like dog shit.
Stoffers Gen 3, on the other hand.....
holy crap, I need some alone time in the bathroom with that pic!teemtrubble wrote:Thanks for the compliments fella's I'm sorry it looks a little sloppy now that I'm looking at it close but, I tend to be in a hurry on my personal stuff here's a pic of the latest "Y" prior to final machining. It makes it easier to clean up after final assembly, welding and heat treat.
Shannon we really do that with all the components c'mon you know how hard it is to clean up after heat treat the real job is brushing after heat treat and getting the grain to go the same direction for a bright brush finish one of our many options.ShanMan wrote:aww c'mon! Now you're just showin' off mister...
I'm trying to keep "Doggin'" out of the thread, and just focus on the facts.AJ wrote:

I find it odd that while several members ( including myself) have expressed concerns over the fit and alignment of the cradle pieces, along with some of the welding..... you have never addressed the situation.
I would have thought you would have shown new tooling or jigs that are correcting the issues....
Nope.
We are all just labeled as bashers, who have a hidden agenda of some kind.
If I comment that in the photo's you tossed up..... that the Radiators look pretty "Frankenstein" .. is that bashing?
For once, right here and now, tell us what refinements we can expect to see in the 2009 edition of your bike.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by once in a while AJ, I do appricate it.
I just hope by doing so that you can pick up a little honest feedback, and improve your product as a result.
As for market segment your point is noted but, I think your wrong my friend about full service.nmdesertrider wrote: SH fills a particular market segment. Their bikes look pretty well done now and they are the only place that can give you full service for what they sell.
