New OEM cylinder-Yellow coating?
New OEM cylinder-Yellow coating?
I just bought a new OEM cylinder. Anyone know what to use to get the yellow coating out of the cylinder? Its been ported, and has the rear transfers epoxied. Dont want to use a harsh chemical that might compromise the structure of the epoxy.

its definately new with that coating, brake kleen / solvent / gas, whatever is closest.
Check the BORE!!
The last few new ones i've recieved havent been useable at standard
The most recent one was .001 tight 1"from the top, .002" loose close to the transfers and .003" tight for the bottom 1.5"
I had to bore it oversize.
