oggos CR500AF supermoto build

right boyz i know its very early on but i wanted to take a few snaps , motor should be here within 10 days so i can start chopping the frame ....
i cleaned most of the crap off the frame , took me an hour with petrol , caked on it was .... so the frame now has centre stage in my little nest cause my KTM is ready for 09 :D

nice pw, I found a white '85 with red trim so i allowed it in the garage

thats actually a chinese thingy , my cousins kids , almost every is the same as a pw , from cables to carb , just copys :lol:

here is some of the plans :

- frame , swinger and subframe , powder coated black satin
- Forks , lower stancions Black nitride
- beringer 4 pot set up
- hopefully Ohlins rear shock
- talons laced with excels (17")
- Pro Circuit expansion & end can
- Cr250 igintion (cdi, flywheel,stator and coil)
- GMX oversized Rad's
- samco hoses
- no airbox !! , gona go with a K&N (dyno'd then to jet)
- TAG tripples or equvalent
- sunline foot rest
- Quick shifter (AFAIK i can get one made up)
- step out the seat
- more bling , like clutch & flywheel covers , twin walls , GPR damper

etc etc etc :D ... its gona be over time i cant do it any other way , funds dont allow me :oops:

a big big thanks goes out to Roostius_Maximus for being a top man and sorting me out with 6061 material of the frame mod , extremely helpful and credit to this forum :cool:

right i suppose this is where is starts , not much done , but cut the frame , just need to trim the down spar , and make up mounts , should have them done by the weekend , then i will sort out the welding

motor stripped a bit , waiting for my replacement crank case & cylinder then i will build it , oh and some internals to arrive

happy days dude :cool: u will win the race to finish , i have too much to get , but u never know we both might be doing flid fest on cr500af's, the rest of my motor arrived today in ireland , customs have it , so a few days before i get it , i hope to get stuck into it next week , just finished off a crf150 and need to sort out 625smc , then i will finish the fabrication on the cr500 , also have a 525sx to rebuild the motor on in the next few weeks ... wheels should be here too , collecting upper fork tubes hoepfully friday , its all up in the air at the min :oops:
