if i was solid bro i would crank out a few more Y's. just a matter of time before alot of gen5 get converted. billet Y appears to be the only logical way.

Took her on a maiden voyage today and fuk me im happy!!!!

Bike handles awesom and just seems nicer to ride, its weird its just that everything is a little bit better than my gen 1, also it seems like Ive got a ton more stamina

It hadnt been rite all day, from leaving the house it felt rich and was bogging sometimes at WOT, well halfway through the ride the bog flaired up and she quit.....

Kick kick kick nothing.....

I push it for 20ft and say fuk this, my buddy went for a rope....

Im pretty sure I fouled the plug but its weird that the jetting would be that far off to do that, the airbox-filter is different and it now has an FMF vs the old procircuit.

Im gonna do some more wrenchin tomorrow and see....

Dirtbikes are meant to hit the ground hard, if yours never goes down you aint riding enough, I dont think laying it over gently is being disrepectful

Let me guess your one of the guys who puts towels on their bike stands.....

On another note I just pulled all the numbers and slapped on the new graphics

Gonna pull the carb for a clean up tomorrow and swap out the plug.

Looking back on today this thing is off the hook, without a doubt the nicest bike Ive ever ridden. I was fast all day and dint have any of those "ohhh shittt" moments.

Fast its totally predictable and the suspension soaked up everything, slow stuff is also easier as the bike feels smaller, im also more comfortable standing.

I just looked at it and after hitting a whoop section really wrong Ive still got 4" of travel left in the forks yet it still feels completely plush on the choppy shit.

Im nowhere near as tired or sore as I usually am after doing the same loop.

Its not one thing it just does EVERYTHING better than my gen1, the only thing I do have to get used to is the brakes. They are leagues better so much so that when I hit the front like I normally do I almost go over the bars and I stalled the motor a few times with the rear.

It vibrates less too.

The big downside is the gastank, if I hadnt of broke down theres no way in hell Id have made it back to the truck, theres probably 3 cups of juice left, im definatly gonna have to get the IMS 2.7.

Thanks for doing a kickass fukin job Solid, you really came through, your work exceed my expectations by a mile.

Gotta give props to bob casper (cmotodad) on getting the front wheel laced pronto also!

Swap out the plug at least every 4 years or you will end up pushing then being towed by a yamaha.....

Theres a ton of room, no gas tank moulding and you can swap the plug without removing anything.

Im pretty sure a 2.7 gal desert tank is going to be a straight swap too

One other thing. But because mine broke there and since your not known to jump these things. I highly recommend putting a doubler plate on the front and back part on the upper "Y"

I'm sure the welds are excellent, I just don't trust the design.

One thing you could do is move your break lever in on the bars to give your break line a little more slack. You only need 1 or 2 fingers for it.
