Thanks bob, the tank does agree, at the bottom rear of the tank i have almost 1/4" clearance above the headstay and mounting block. The 450 frame has more room under the gas tank than the crf250 frame.

Thats a very good point bearoso, maybe it would be best to do that or i decide and thats the way they sell. Do you think the cover should also offer more inner clearance for flywheel weights or ?

A lot of nice work there but some how I missed that you were in competition with Service Honda and everyone else making 500AF conversions. I guess that explains why you are always so vicious in attacking AJ’s work. I think any attacks on the shops building these bikes and charging big bucks deserve...

Two biggest issues so far are the headstay and silencer mounting. headstay; do i do a ha...

knobby as said before use a stock style pipe, only the rear mount on the stinger needs to be changed. there are no mods needed for the silencer either, add 1 mounting boss about in the middle of the subframe side rail and use a bracket that mounts to the orignal crf rear silencer mount, thats it. if...

These new bikes look so fkn cool, are small...

Your build looks really nice,
if you use stock rads would there be enough room for the crossover to fit between the motor and downtube ?
