Just thought I would give an update!!

I have been fighting this problem for a long time now. I have put a pingle fuel valve on and still the same problem.

The fix, modified fuel cap breather. No more problems.

Thanks, I was looking at some DNA wheels and I'm sure that the wheels are the later ones that have the bigger axle, bearings and different wheel spacing. I am not sure of the different gens and years. I wish that someone could tell me exactly what I would need to do so I wouldn't have to waste money ...

I like my CPI pipe, I'm not a great rider, but I wanted to feel some of that arm riping power my 88 had.

I know it lost some bottom end but I dont think its bad at all, allready had alot of bottom end, could loose a little. LOL

I see compleatly what your saying thats why I asked what you can get away with on stock porting.

I have built many big block chevs and what your saying holds true even on a cam and valve engine.

To find duration with a degree wheel all you need to do is bring the piston to the top of the port, ( piston going down) I like to use a ten thousands feeler gage, the bring the piston down past BDC back up to the top of port. I ran my zilla for 11 years on a weisco with no problems, until I leaned it out to much. It still had 158 lbs compression compared to 165 lbs new.
