the first thing that failed on 3 of the 4 gas gas bikes my buddy nick had was the 6spd trans, next was crank bearings. a 200, a 250 and a 300, one 250 was just rebuilt when he got it and it lasted til he traded it in.

I have twice had to flush a motor out while away from home in order to run the rest of the weekend.
Both times I used a self-service car wash and flushed with lots of water.
Volumn is what will get the small particles out, then since I already have premixed alcohol in the trailer I finish flushing ...

Ok I did a little closer looking at my 250 and 125 stators
The stators look visually the same as in the pickup location and mounting of the 8 coil stator but the reason it does not mount on my cr500 is because of the location of the rubber seal that is sandwiched between the cover and the case.

the cr125 flywheel and stator would have to be used as a matched set if it does work.
The flywheel is clocked differant because the pickup is mounted in a differant location and it did not seam to work real well with the wire routing so I have never tried running it.

Alcahol is 124 octane, this allows you to run a much higher compression, take advantage of that.
