Re: Cr250 Stator Cover??
Does anyone know if the stator cover from a Cr250 will fit the 500?? I am using a 92 motor and have stripped the cases and I want a gray stator cover to match. Anybody done this, the 250 covers just seem to be a lot cheaper. In a word no. I brought a 250 cover for my 500, the top two holes line up ...

packard told me yesterday the whole '01 cr250 setup works real sweet. anybody know what that '01 cr250 flywheel weighs ? I've just fitted this set up. Had to machine the back of the stator plate to make it fit. So that dispels the myth that is a easy fit/straight swap! As for the weight of the flyw...

why wont it work? Cuz it dont fuckin ' fit. First of all happy independance day to our colonial cousins. ;-) Anything will fit, it's how much time and/or money you want to spend making it fit or work, that's the deciding factor. The NASA pen is a great example of engineering a solution to a problem...

Gen 2 CDi mounting position.
After reading elsewhere of the benefits of a 2001 CR250 ignition system & it "bolts straight on" a 500 motor. I went ahead & got hold of one to fit to my Gen 1. After machining the back of the stator plate to get that to "bolt straight on" i've now found that the CDI unit...

Re: Any body looked at 500 parts prices lately on EBAY?

Fortunately for me my parts will last forever because I don't use them anymore. I went to the Leesburg bikefest this weekend and sat around and p...

Re: Ryan's Gen 1

Or is a y splitter set up good enough? Yeah i have had the radiator modified. I had two done as a just in...
