roost251- yeah, I'm not getting a TAV for it now, I'll certainly end up wrecked in spectacular fashion. I'll probably put a 72 on the back with a regular clutch and call it good. I'd kill myself on a CR500 powered version (that photo is hilarious!!!), but the crotch-rocket one is just mind boggling....

Fat kid on a little bike.
So my neighbor Spencer and I both have a minibike fetish. I picked up the gem depicted below a week or so ago, after riding his around for awhile, figuring it was good, clean fun for the whole family. Wrong! So I've had two semi-major incidents already. #1, I was riding his and lost it on some grave...

The price looks to be pretty close to what a Scotts sells for, too, with a much cleaner mounting scheme. I've never ridden a bike with one, are these the cat's ass for our 500's? I finally stopped riding like a complete flaming vagina and have got a bit of head shake on my CR at the dunes, but I did...

I have a set of Answer pants with zip-up pockets on them if I really want to carry my phone and wallet with me. I haven't left my truck in a bad area for riding yet, so I usually just hide my keys in the frame somewhere when I leave so I don't have to carry them with me. Either in a crossmember or c...

In Pittsburgh I got blasted with what felt like 900 pounds worth of mud. I should've taken a picture of my bike afterward, being the slow new guy at the back, I got more than my fair share of wet, nasty, stinky dirt all over me. I waited a couple weeks before cleaning my helmet off and it actually l...

Bitchin'!!! That exhaust alone is worth some decent coin, the original 4 into 4's are becoming hard to find in decent shape. Definitely throw 'em up on ebay if you're turning it into a cafe racer. I've got a '74 CB550 that I've ridden for most of the summer, on the original tires... Came wit...

The paddle was ridiculous, that's the first time I've ridden with a cupped tire on the sand. It left me with an ear to ear grin, between the trail port job and the paddle, it was pulling the front wheel everywhere, and the few people I let ride it were incredibly impressed. I KO'd the clutch at the ...

The best tire Ive run so far is the 140/80 18 michelin S12, it hooks like no other but it is chunking pretty bad since I spun it around :( Michigan for the most part is really sandy soil, I've got S12's front and rear on my bike. No complaints at all, I even ran it at the dunes back in April and it...

I wouldn't mind a new 450 for MX use, but I'd still prefer a 250 2t or 300 EXC with some flywheel weight for nasty woods riding, like what I experienced in Pittsburgh. I only had the money for one bike, and although it isn't the best choice for most all of the riding I do, I love my 500 to death and...
