at least im not the only one
your supposed to use the clutch but 2 fingers only you lose control over the bars using 4
i have better luck using one finger, because i need to hang on tight,
the one downside i found is if i always have a finger on the clutch when i bail my clutch fingers get mangled
the 450 will have less power and will be harder to start, and will be heavier, but to make up for it it will require more maintenance.

Sounds good. Where were you riding at? Looks familiar.

Were you yelling towards the end?
The CR500 is an acquired taste. If you don't like it, acquire some taste...

Sometimes I downshift without a clutch, but isn't it hard on gears to upshift while pinned without a clutch? The springs are heavy in the CF clutch Glenn put in, and the cable is worn, so no way I could use one or two fingers on the clutch. It's running a little fat on the top end (100+F), but it's perfect when it's cool out. It was shot along Irwin road outside of Barstow with a GoPro HD cam. Sometimes I talk to my bike when I ride, don't You? lol.

Just drop the throttle for a split second

the way to go would be get a magura with ee lever or 8.5 master cyl, or both

I think I said "GO MOTHER FUCKERRRR!!!! NEED MORE POOOWWWWEERRRRR!!!!" Or something to that effect. Hmm. I'll have to try your shifting method out and see if it's faster, I do need a new cable for sure though. And brake pads, I don't have any back brakes at all, but who needs those.

Thats ok for what he's doing but not for the start of a race. You will find yourself in last place.

Besides,.......... It sounds good for the video.
