Case bearing removal
Figure I will press the accessible bearings out, but how do I get the main shaft and shift drum bearings out of the left case

toss the cases in the oven at 350 with the centers down, you'll hear the bearings just drop out. flip the cases over to get the waterpump and mainshaft ones out, I use a screwdriver to help wiggle out the water pump one. put the new bearings in the freezer over night before hand and once the bearings are out and while the cases are still hot, just drop the new cold bearings in, the temp will nomalize very quickly and they'll stick together.
don't press them out, by pressing you damage the bore the bearings sit in and after just a couple main bearing swaps, the bearings will turn in the case.

Oven worked great for getting the heavier bearings out and the cold bearings dropped right in
Had to get a Tusk blind bearing removal set for the small water pump and the roller drum bearings. $120 cheaper then the identical Motion Pro set, saved me enough to get the Tusk splitter and crank puller/installer tool
