Dove Springs is like Jawbone, same kind of riding, just closer to the mythical cabin and sc 102.(click on pics)

My AF

The directions to get there where well documented but I know I’m good at getting lost.
Good thing signs where posted.

The day started out with the ride to the cabin but a problem(old problem) on Zorak’s bike made us return to camp. Good thing after a sandwich and some thinking he found the fault and easily repaired it.

Off we went to sc102, we did it on both directions, it was fun as usual.
I forgot some of those hills were so gnarly, good thing the sand wasn’t loose because it had been raining a few days ago.

Hey, look what we found up there, trash…..and I know who use to eat those bars.

Return was quick with a few little whoops here and there.
My AF out for the second time needs some repairs and fine tuning.
I cracked the subframe where it screws under the sit and lost one of the plastics screw.

I wanted to play with the carb adjustments but I had too much fun riding and I didn’t want to take the all thing apart.
The water bottle worked fine, I've seen some coolant in there at the top af sc102 but it got sucked back in.

Nobody kissed the dirt and no injuries, painful to leave at night to head home and abandon Iggy alone for another day of fun.
Good seeing you guys
Al

The wires going down the frame to the stator I lost the clamp and it layed against pipe and burnt though the insulation. The wires were shorting out against the pipe. It was an easy fix I geuss I didn't see it when I was clean the carb on friday. When I had the bike all apart an hour before I was leaving can you say procrastanatorbritincali wrote:So what went wrong with your bike zorak?

Yeah mythical cabin,
Oh well, next time. The kid on the 125 that Al give gas to confirmed the road/trail to the cabin. SC65. Before we stopped, there was a cattle troff full of water, and another one of stone above ground. I had to stand on the pegs of the bike to look over the top, a pipe with trickling water and full of cat-tails. Decent place to cool off in the summer.
SC102, well its doesn't have the pucker power as the one that Rob leads into the camp spot at Jawbone but none the less its perfectly challedging for me. The best part of it still is coming up from Kelso Rd. I didn't remember the supercross type whoop sections across that but refecting on the way home I remembered.
We decided to eat dinner and pack it up for home, turns out I needed to tear down the bike and replace the base gasket
Obvious leaking and sucking air. I had the mix screw at 1/4 turn out to kept form surging. The cylinder's off, hopefully the dealers got one in stock.
