gen 1 125 ignition question

i have an ignition from my gen 1 125.

is this set up usable in my 85' 500 ? i see the info about running 250 ignitions but since i already have this could it work? any and all info is appreciated.

would there be the noticeable difference with this set up?
OLD: You don't know what the f--k you're doing.
PREFERRED: I think you could use more training.

i tried to shove the 125 ignitions i had in there, 85ish stuff, different taper, if these fit then i think i've got a couple of sets available from a kid in town here

That was going to be my next step, checking the taper. There is plenty of room around so I don't see that aspect being an issue. Though the taper is a critical part to this mash up of parts working out. Thanks
