Honda 250R throttle... Works great for me, I was having major problems with throttle control jumping and tight corners. Something to do with the way I move my weight I would loop or spin out. With this I have full control and can ride to the best of my limited abilityHrcRacing wrote:Why are you running a thumb throttle? Got a pic of that?eyesky2002 wrote:Glad to see I am not the only hoon running a thumb throttle!!
Only thing that sucks about it is when I replace grips, I have to buy 2 sets to get 2 bar size ones
I replaced the black with a nice chrome one this summer

Huh, I would have never thought of that. You know, that could help your form too since you don't have to drop your right elbow to get to full throttle.
Do the four-stroke quads come with those? I was thinking about getting a G2 Quick Throttle tube for my 450 since my local track has some jumps right as you exit the turn and I'm having problems getting on the gas fast enough for them. Would definitely consider testing one of those.
Pretty sweet idea bro.

Cool vid editing....I like the sound of the jams w/the moto noises.
Interesting setup.
I always ditched the thumb controls in favor of twist grips. I felt like I couldn't hold on as tight. Started riding when I was 12, never could get used to the t.lever in my manly years.
Even modded the jet ski in favor of a twistie.
Some like it, some don't. It all depends on what works best for you.
Makes for a good theft deterrent.
Sweet track....nice skills.

Did you figure out how to get full throttle out of the thumb throttle? Ive noticed that i only get about 3/4 throttle open pinned? I was thinking of making and ratio lever that would help.eyesky2002 wrote:Honda 250R throttle... Works great for me, I was having major problems with throttle control jumping and tight corners.
