hey guys, bitchin site.lots of great info and a delightful lack of bullshit and drama. long time lurker from hollister ,ca.
i own a small custom paint and sign shop and play in the dirt for stress relief. i own a couple cr5's; a 97 that is getting put back together after a long coma and a '90 that is going to donate it's heart for the other. i have ridden since the early seventies and even with the current technology and performance of the new 450's (i've got an '04 ) i still miss my five-oh.
i used to be a clear creek regular 'till the fucktards at the blm kicked us out,i ride occasionally at hollister hills because it's only ten minutes from my house,but most of my riding is in mojave/ridgecrest area or the kirkwood area off hwy 88 in the sierras.
i have found lots of good info here already and look forward to picking brains on the matters of steelie frame rebuilds and transmission work.
