'89 Roller/Part out

Post by fastkart »

Looking at picking up an '89 500 with a burnt piston. I'm going to want to keep the motor/carb/electronics but part out the rest of the bike, pipe included. Anybody here interested in some parts? I don't have much use for a bike... I'd just kill myself. I'm just seeing if anybody is interested in the pieces before I buy it and get stuck with it.

If you don't have much use for a bike, what are you going to do with the engine, carb and electrics. :?

1/6 mile track, 4th gear only in the transmission, 9500rpm's & 90mph down the straights/ 70mph average speed

I've been wanting to play around with porting and such myself.
