Is anyone who follows drag racing surprised by lay downs for a teammate. Rumors of this shit have been floating around since the first 2 car teams came on the scene.

What's reprehensible is the talking heads over at NHRA trying to cover it up by making a scene of looking at the onboard data.

For a non-profit company, they sure act the part of Gordon Gecko.

"Manipulating" the out come has been around since the first "race for pinks" ever happend DECADES AGO people...wake up and smell the beano...

I dont call that cheating....and I can honestly say is that if I was the owner of two different teams I would do whatever it takes to get both of my cars in the finals. I think anybody in the situation Force was in would have done the same thing.

Bob you just don't get it... It's about winning championships not national events. NHRA did this a few years back when they started the count down to the championship. Hate the game not the player!!!

No Force did...... but if Hight wins it all...... it wont mean shit because Force tarnished it when HE cheated.

Maybe Cruz would have won it if he wasent bounced out....

Maybe Hight would have whipped Forces ass in a straight up race...

The world will never know, cuz Force ruined it for everybody.

i hardly watch tv any more. you got gay ass reality shows, the local news which is always just some depressing bullshit of people stealing cars or kidnapping kids, football but half the players are conviced felons that beat their wives, and racing which is mostly rigged. hell even the horse racing is rigged i think. tv is gay. oh and theres obamas black ass all over the screen, aparently his health care reform will include 12 million illegals :x . ya were fuked

you are right. its called "manufactures race" as opposed to the individuals race. f1 has been doing it for years. not to mention hrc. unfortunatly in the racing game its being called a "team player". its wide spread. he would of been told to do it in any case.taking one for the team.
do it!... cos if you dont, youll spend the rest of your life thinking about it anyway!

Its not even racing.... its entertainment.... its " Show Biz".

Teams are spending Millions, to win Thousands...

Its a all day commercial.... its about getting your brand sponsor in front of as many faces as possible, for as long as possible.

It sucks...

And this is why I don't blame Force for taking "The Dive" He can't directly admit it because NHRA will penalize him but he said it a bunch of times indirectly " I have four teams and I can do what I want with them"
NHRA needs to go back to just heads up racing and pay up big bucks to the winner, and more bucks to the champion. Then there would be less politicing and more racing.

No matter what side you are on you cant despute the fact that one owner owning multiple teams in the same class is nothing more then basic "conflict of interest" and shouldnt be allowed. But IF it is "allowed" (like it is) then it should be expected to happen!!

I really only watch the AMA outdoor nationals and the supercross series, plus some Arenacross action and FMX.

Don't care to much for anything else.

I just love to see dirtbikes going hell bent in all directions.
