Gen 1 and Gen 2 Questions!!!

hey got some questions, what all are interchangeable between the gen 1 CR250s and the Gen 2 , i obviously know that the frame and sub frame are different, but how about forks? Swing arm? front and rear rims? brakes? triple clamps? shock absorber? Shock linkage? ect, id like to get a 98 frame off of ebay but i know where a 01 cr250 is complete except motor, but i know you have to cut the cradle right out and remount it, and on the gen 1s you just cut the mount by the exhaust which i think is way easier!!,

let me know which parts are interchangeable, it would be appreiciated,

This is a bad idea- I would just buy the Gen 2 complete chassis and do your conversion on that. You do not have to cut the cradle- look at a few of the Gen 2 conversions on here. You can get away with just making room under the Y and welding in new front mounts.
