Jumping in with both feet!!

Post by rjt500 »

Hello, I have been follwing this site for some time. Finally got around to actually joining. I live out here in the great pacific northwest, trail rider, have a 98 cr500, 05 crf450x on steroids, and just saturday bought a 03 cr250 which will be my new cr500AF. Thats right a friggin beer can, still a little tears in my eyes though, i had to part with my 85 cr500 to help fund my AF build. I will miss that bike, had it for fifteen years. But it is not all bad i still have a 86 cr500 motor sitting on the shelf in the garage for my next Af build. Anyway love the site , a lot of great info i will lean heavy on for my build. I will get pics up soon and keep you posted on the build!

Thanks guys for the warm welcome. I took the 250 out today just to ride it before i tear it down and start my build. WOW! super smooth suspension. I cannot wait to get that 500 motor in that frame it will be sweet!!

Welcome man! Good luck with the build!
The CR500 is an acquired taste. If you don't like it, acquire some taste...
