I am going to try to mod the radiators from my 450, but the hose connecting the two radiators is on the top. Does this pose a problem? All the 500's seem to be commected at the bottom. Any info and advice would be greatly appreciated.

You can connect all the water hoses on the left side of the 450 radiator and go straight down to the cylinder head.On my 450500 ive had those hoses connected that way for a year and had no problems with the cooling system.I did not have to modify the 450 radiators at all. Just had to find the right combination of hoses. Hope that helps.
