OCC's dirt bike
Anyone see the American Chopper show where they built a camouflaged dual-sporter?
What a fucking hack job. An over weight, under powered, shitty-assed suspensioned, ugly piece of shit. I'd be pissed if I was the CEO that forked out $100K+ to get a rag like that. It has to be fake....I can't believe that company exec'ts would finance such shit in this day in time.
Hey...Paul claims 13" suspension.
I think it's more like 3".
They could have camo dipped a 500 steelie and had something truly bad ass.

In the early stages of the show it was pretty good. lot's of fabricating done on the show. Now it is a friggin wanna be show. 95% made up drama a 5% bike build. I own a Harley, hell I'll ride a scooter I don't give a crap. But the bikes that are being built on most of the shows are unridable. Rigid frame, no cushion leather seat?? Shit how many of the biker build off bikes make the final ride? Don't get me wrong, I wish I had their talent but a piece of art is for hanging on the wall...

These guys do it all....... Raw steel comes in the back door, finished bikes roll out the front door.... 100% in house, and better than WCC

those OCC guys are a bunch of hacks! I remember watching the show and watching them build the bikes and it was like "dee dee dee, why doesn't this peice fit...duhhh"
I'd be scared to ride something that came out of that shop.

LOL, were there even any gromets where the wires went into the frame, or was the lack of one the cause of the fire?AlisoBob wrote:OCC beats shit together with hammers.
Uncle Kracker had one come into his shop all burnt up.... Electrical fire while riding!!!
Whole bike went up, NOT ONE FUSE, NOT ONE CIRCUIT BREAKER, NO WIRING PROTECTION of any kind.
Looks like it was done in Mexico, on May 6th.

what a bunch of hacks... the worst part is they are fucking loaded with cash and can't build their shitty bikes fast enough to keep up with sales. The real talented guys are in small garage shops out of the mainstream because they build quality not quantity.AlisoBob wrote:Nope, and Yupdannygraves wrote:[

I like Billy Lane and the Martin Bros, but to me the best builder was and is Indian Larry. Just before he passed away I had planned on quitting my welding job and going to work for him. Wish that was still possible.

He was a unique old-school old fart.
I love the way he twisted the square rods for his frames and pegs.
The linked-chain frame was my favorite.
Jesse could be an ass at times, but he wasn't prejudice. He built several Jap bikes for himself and did custom paint work for some FMX dudes (metal mulisha?)..
I didn't know that Jeremy Lusk bit a big one. I came across this vid:

I really Liked Indian larry's style as well. The way he did the oil filters was cool. Don't like the peanut tanks though. Russell Mitchell from Exile is really inovative as well. He does not compromise for anybody. So many great builders and OCC gets the most airtime...
