ok i tried looking on sudco website for mikuni parts i need and its a nightmare. did the '02-'03 carbs use the same jets and needle as the '04-'07 ? anyone know anything bout these stupid carbs, im totally lost because it seems mikuni had 10000 versions of carbs and 1000 diferent styles of jets
. my manual says i have a TMX 10A, im assuming thats a 38mm but i forgot to measure it and i dont know these carbs for shit

Tip! the needle #s/letters are all over the place.
Most of the time the nozzle that the needle slides into is changed.
Example my old RM stock was a Q-8 but needed a R-2.
I think her quad went from a O-6 to O-8. Both richer.
See if FMF.com has the 250 specs.
Oh and last I read in one of the mags said the last years of the CR250 the jetting was all over the place and never really got it dialed in.

yeah, the needles are weird #'s and letters, really confusing, like the xx41j and xx40j and on either size on a xx46m which is the middle. I'm running a r-8 needle jet and 40j needle and still have starting issues, but otherwise in runs tits.
the carb you have is a tmx, most components are shared with all the '01+cr250s and uses the same jets as other TM series.
and yes, its a 38mm
