I dont know if he died, but this recent spill doesnt look good on the neck :(
http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=0b4_1234071862&c=1

*Yup, I just seen it on the news. He actually didn't break his neck at all. But he had pretty severe brain damage. Went through a 4.5 hour head surgery and died there after due to complications. I don't think I could ride again if I was among his close friends, like the militia. This sucks...Was a pretty routine trick for those guys too! Little mistake

"RIP Jeremy Lusk

It is with great sadness that we report Jeremy Lusk succumbed to his injures tonight at 11:03pm PST. He was surrounded by his loving Mother and father, Chuck & Gina Lusk, his wonderful wife Lauren, his mother and father in law Lyne & Larry along with his closest Mulisha friends Brian Deegan, Ryan Hagy, Cameron Steele & Erik Apple. He is now with our Heavenly Father and is at peace. We know he is performing sick tricks for all those in Heaven to crowds greater than we have ever seen. We will miss you Pitbull!

Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

We will provide further updates on arrangements when we get them.

This sucks....

BUT

I'm at least releived to see he died of his injuries... and not due to some terrible ( or non existant) medical response.

Those guys were on him quick, and looked like they knew exactly what everyones role was.... from treatment, to crowd control.

Rock on Lusk, and thanks for everything, from all your fans.

Or died from an OD or drinking and driving, it sucks but at least he went out doing something he loved doing. Wish we were all that lucky. RIP Dude.

It's a bummer for sure, but like somebody else on thumpertalk mentioned, at least he went out on top of his game.

Unfortunately it's also another reminder of exactly how dangerous riding a dirt bike can be. When I ran Red Bud on labor day last year, I saw over 5 people get hauled away in an ambulance.

going out on top of your game, or died doing what he loved are interesting statements to me. Regardless of how you die, dead is unfortunately still dead.

That sucks he died. I was wondering how long it was going to take till someone died crashing during a backflip variation.

It scares the living shit out of me to hear of these types of accidents, even more so after what happened to Randy last year! I sit and watch the boys hit our ramp at the ranch, and it can happen that easily, tricks that they've done over 100 times, yet it still can happen that easily! Jeremy was a class act, brought a hell of a lot to the table. He will be missed, but not forgotten!!

RIP Jeremy and watch over the rest of us who so passionately enjoy the sport that took your life!!

RIP dude. HE was at the top of his game and the risks are huge when you're going that big. It's easy to lose sight of the danger when they make it look so easy.

This freestyle-motocross stuff is only for the insane, or for dudes with very few LONG RANGE plans.

And the guys doing similiar tricks on snowmobiles might be even crazier.

What DOES suck is that some 'roid-pumped retard can make 100 times more money playing pro baseball. I'd rather watch paint dry.
