Tell me it's not snowing in Phoenix! Two weeks ago, I got to Dallas just in time for the ice storms and propmtly contracted the flu. Last week, just as I got to Tampa, a cold front hit and took it down to the 40s. Tomorrow, I'm headed for Phoenix and I'm in no mood to see any white shat on the ground, dammit! Image

Thanks, but you wouldn't have wanted me around. I'm fighting the flu and it was in full effect when I was there. I just wonder how many folks on the plane I nuked? I'll probably be making another trip over there in a few months. The customer I was working at will be getting a new circuit that will need testing and the guy in our group that lives there, just got laid off. I'll give you some warning when I'll be back that way.

Natural selection favors Smart people, so nature selects morons to be slow and dumb for tigers and stuff too eat. But in our modern world there just aren't enough tigers.

I used to have 6ft of snow in the yard by christmas, 06 + 07 there was bare grass, 06 it was +1c!, This year was exceptional, had 2 ft by christmas -25c, and for the first time in 3 years bro got the sled out. Dads 98 Mach-z has sat for 7 years cuz theres no snow anymore. The summers are hotter + longer, and the winters are colder. Its raining right now. All the bush that was Elm + Oak is dead and its Poplar and shrubs now. I bet theres 10% of the trees over 2ft round that are still alive. I used to be able to look at the hillside and only see trees, now i can see the ground thru them.
I don't need a guy in a suit telling me we've screwed things up.

X2 damn right. the effects are everywhere. people think global warming is only warming. nope. the highs are higher and the lows are lower, and the moisture from the warm oceans bring major rains (snow at elevation or near northern jetstream), hurricanes, etc.

there are 5 feet of snow in the san gabriel mountains twenty miles from downtown Los Angeles. that is not normal. more snow on the way.
