Im new on the site, Hi Everyone you all have a great site lots of good information. Since im new I was hoping I could get a break if I write something stupid.
Really nice bike what frame and tank is this? I didn't see it posted sorry if I missed it.
I picking up an 89 CR500, I wanted to find out from you guys which alum. frame was favored for: 1- Ride and 2- Fitting a motor? Any help would be great and if this information is posted on the site could someone point me to a good thread?
Thanks in advance.

Welcome. The Gen 1 250, 97-99 is the easiest to fit the motor in, it requires the least amount of fabrication. I was going to start with a Gen 1 for my conversion when I first joined, but after some reading I decided on a Gen 3, 02-07, CR250.
When looking for a chassis, you are a lot better off paying more money for a real clean bike. A newer bike will cost you more, but it will be worth more when it comes time to sell it.
