It was like looking for burried treasure today. 1st Brit almost gets his truck stuck on the shoulder of the 2nd stop. Then he asks me if I had any maps of the area or information / connections about the event. All I know is that Caselli said it's a fun race and I would enjoy it, so I entered. I was just showing up today to check the area to see if I could bring the transporter out. I asked him if he had raced this event before? Yes, 5 times. :rotfl: So, I brought up all the supplies to rope things off and just left it with him and he is going to go back out and scope it in a week or so. :D Thanks for your help Bob. Good times. can't wait for the event.

Well I hear the start is at the same spot. How hard could it be!
Personal I would goto the end of Rancho Rd. where it turns to dirt go down another 300yards to a Q mile turn right and mark a spot.
Guess I'll post a sat pic tomorrow on the other thread after I get to work.

Whos knows, a coworker who lives nearby is spectating, maybe I'll make a cameo appr.....

The biggest thing I was worried about is rp's bigrig thing, we cant be romping through the desert iggro

If I knew where the MX part was going to be I would have taped somewhere off near the entrance/exit, but as usual the vipers aint got anything marked and no info as to where they are gonna build it

This is a major part of the problem, the desert vipers SUCK at directions...

Copied from their website

"Directions to the Adelanto Grand Prix

The high desert town of Adelanto is just over the Cajon Pass from the Los Angeles area near the city of Victorville. Look for the signs and thousands of racers as you enter town."

Those directions are perfect, it's fricken Victorville, you have 3 exits and one main drag.
Don't Clyde it, ride it!
