Fellas, it ain't gonna be the last race team or high performance manufacturer or wholesaler that's going to fail.

They have been in bankruptcy since February of this year, so hell, they may be ahead of the curve.

Most all hardcore racing parts stuff is down this year, been trending down for awhile nationally. My racing business is off some, but street rod and musclecar is still growing.

It always has two sides
1 - good economy, guys make money and spend money on everything
2 - bad economy, guys try to get their minds off of the economy and spend money, attend races, build hot rods as "an investment"

I do alot of hotrod, street, drag, circle track, and mud racing stuff, and its been getting chaotically busy, i also have farmers who are stressed about the markets and not buying new tractors, but overhauling what they own and keeping the ag section unbelievibly busy

Most of my dirt track engine builders have noticed that more guys are re-ringing/fresh bearings instead of a new bullet the last couple of years.

the local dealer has new 06's stil. I got the squeeze on him for some of that inventory. He does a decent amount of work with me, but never gets ahead. Real tough market this close to the border.
