Yeah, I heard the "bailout" got refused. Thats funny. I'm poor anyhow, so I'm pretty used to that lifestyle. Wait until all those guys have to sell their ferrari's and buy geo's!

I've made a good amount of money in the market..... While everyone is ready to jump of the cliff today , all I see is oppertunity! ( I've also been 100% cash for 4 months.... watching this storm brew, and brew....)

I'm surprized how many times people tell me they dont invest, because its "too complicated", or they "Dont have enough money too start investing".

Both are terrible excuses...

RIGHT NOW is the time to start investing for your future!

Back in late 2000 / early 2001 EVERYBODY was jumping in to invest for the first time..... at the peak of a 10 year bull run... That is the very worst time to do so, as many found out.

As bleak as the news paints the economy, and far as the market has fallen in the last 7 trading sessions, NOW is the time to get positioned....

I feel for those feeling real pain today, but I'm pretty excited about the pullback...

there are shops going out of business like crazy around here. wicks furniture went under a couple months ago and we did the a/c for their new building... just noticed the other day a shoe store and linnens 'n' things are going under, and a few months ago they closed the compUSA in the same shopping center.
It sucks, but it also offers a clean slate for new ones. there is now available store fronts at a very good price which new businesses are moving into everyday!

it just like the situation with my house right now. We bought it for $550,000 it currently lists as being worth $389,500. My mother in law got the 20 loan thrown in her BK, so we owe $440,000. we skipped some payments to get the bank to work with us on the remaining loan and they are being assholes and trying to stick us with tens of thousands in fees and shit, so I'm telling my mother in law to tell them to help us out or they can have a REO that they will get $300,000 at most for!

I'm shopping around and finding suitable houses for under $150,000 and its harder for me to justify making a $3000 motrgage in our situation, plus the bank is trying to make us make double payments for 6 months, for that I'm telling them to eat shit!

i know where you can find some nice ones for 175.. however finding a 150k house in vegas that isnt destroyed is going to be tuff... ask me how i know.. Thats what i "WAS" shopping for till i upped my price bracket. Which i found out today is gonna cost me a whole $173 more a month than my current rent payment :P Total financed 172k on a home that sold for over 350k at the peak of the market :D

According to the newspaper tonight, markets are taking a dive all over the place. Nice to know we're not alone in the mess, even though it's all because of our stuff.

When the Dow hits mid 8,000, I'm jumping back in.... I think it will rebound from there without too much danger to the downside...

...but then again....

I think it will get alot worse before it starts coming back. I think it would be different if the rest of the world markets were not crashing too. On the upside though, housing prices in Florida are at all time lows. Can anyone say vacation home?

One market observer commented recently that stocks were a good bet...if you're thinking long-term like 10+ years. So buyer beware short-term.

good rally today
it will be like this up and down for a while, i dont think we have hit bottom though that will be in about 2 yrs when it starts to level out, great for the long term though. thats the key to think for the long haul, u can slit ur wrists if u think day to day.

this is the time to have your $$ saved to pick up stuff for cheap,
