Just wanna know what some of you think, and wondering if any of you got a line on a good engine,I really want it to be 89 plus so I don't have to bore any bushings but if its worth it than I would surely like to hear about it,I know theres always ebay but the prices for engines on there lately are ridiculous,I've also thought about buying brand new cases, right cover and crankshaft and picking up the rest off ebay but that way will surely be a pain in the ass as bidding for stuff on ebay always is,BTW I'm fuckin stoked right now man

Unless your a 'princess and the pea' you'll like the old engine. The bushings are no big thing, especially compared to all the other crap you have to do with a conversion.

These are good engines, are you going to rebuild it before the AF conversion?

Yes and no.
I don't think he could do better on ebay, especially when you factor in shipping and the possibility the motor is junk.
I am sure if he was 'in the business' and IN CALIFORNIA he could do better, but he's not.
