Looking for a engine to a A/F project, preferably a 91 and up.
What would a decent price be, I see engines go for 1000$ ++ on ebay.
I have no problem rebuild the entire engine myself.
Any tips to where I can look for one?

the cr500 engine is becoming quite scarce and expensive with the wave of a/f conversions in the last few years. 10 years a go you could pick up a running one for a couple of bills now like you said its hard to find one under 1000. as far as a good source is concerned ebay is the most popular followed by craigslist and local want ads. good luck.
