Been over at CR500 Riders....got thrown off the group there.
Bought a CR500R from Lewisclan and a bunch of parts. I reconize Big Bobs picturre and a lot of pictures of Jay lewis and his kids riding their bikes. Hope to get a lot of info here.

you guys meet him at pismo last year. Mike Teem trubble hooked him up with a geat deal on an 85, and I gave him the 95 steely that I bought from Mad dog for my gen 1 . so Bruce will be looking for a few parts to get everything conected together .

I thought it was kinda stupid to have a group about CR500R's and not be able to join in just because you didn't have one at the time (I have had two in the past) or you are looking for info to help get the right one. yup, I've got almost a complete '86 chassis and a pile of other parts sitting in my garage... Would rather help a fellow hoon out than sit on it.
Oh, I have a pipe with a repairable dent on the head pipe and some dings on the side from AZ
. I seem to remember talk about a pipe, what chassis is he going to be running?

I dug up a Pro Circuit works pipe and mid pipe in near mint condition I think It's an 86 but, it's the same I think. If your interested let me know. I also told Jay I have most of a tranny for that year as well. Just call me.

but like I said it needs to be repaired.
Mikes pipe is probably better.

let me know what else tyou need, then changed very little between '85 and '86... mostly just the ignition, trans and '86 wheels were gold.
