Off idle question

Post by jtworldwide2 »

So i changed the jetting in my bike when i first picked it up. DGN needle, 172 main and a 58 pilot.
Bike idles well, and runs great when in the gas, however from off idle to maybe 1/8 throttle the thing runs very rough. I have gotten it dialed in better with an air screw adjustment, but i get the impression i might have gone too rich on the pilot. I still cant get it "right".
Should i step back down to the 55 or maybe even go one step down from that?

and you can get a lot of adjustment out of the airscrew, don't be scared to go out a lot on it, better to have it running right.
