Ok friends, FNG here again with another question you all know but I dont.
I'm getting my bike street legal next week and I need a silencer with a spark arrestor in it. I currently have the FMF Gnarly and a Power Core 2 Silencer.
Here's the question... If I buy a FMF turbine core spark arrestor....what do I buy it for...a 97-99 CR250 or a 90+ CR500?

So are you saying it's louder than a Harley? Those rental Harleys on the islands are louder than any two stroke I've ever heard. You should be fine, just putt it in town, and rip it on the hwy.
Yeah, everyone (family and neighbors..who ride) say it's too loud...but not perhaps as loud as a HOG (which I also own if you count a Buell XB12S Lightning with a OEM race kit)....but it's a "different" kind of loud....more obnoxious PING-PING-PING as opposed to Potato-potato-potato.
hmmmm..... HOW ABOUT WRAPPING THE "GNARLY" in header wrap to help absorb some sound? Just wondering out loud.
