Heres some copy and paste posts from the glamis site....

"The 78 just reopened, the train pulled forward a little. The fire seemed to be around a axle assembly, not to big. It shouldn't affect traffic to much unless they make everyone camped past wash 7 go the other way. (south to I-8) "

"well for those of us camped at wash 11 right now...we are hoping they will get the road open soon. Or I guess we will be here for many more days than we had planed... "

"If Ted Kipf rd is open, you can go to wash 40, cross over the tracks, and back up ted kipf rd to 78. "

"LEO said to cross over at 40. Looks like a couple people tried to make it through wash 8 with trailers and had some trouble trying to go around the mess. Tom Simrak, GLMSLVR, Havasu4Good and us are going to wait it out. We have enough water/fuel to get us through to Monday/Tuesday morning. I'll post pics later. "

I think I need to get out more often, I spent 10 minutes trying to find hot chicks in those photos.

Any idea why it ran off the track in the first place? Is that next to a designated camping area or something?

I was out there that weekend, it was incredible how much equipment they had there and how fast they got it there. they weren't to cool with people watching and taking pictures.
