why are you not gonna use it? will it fit all 500 motors

It should fit 87-01. It fit perfect with the PC pipe. It didn't fit with FMF, but I didn't try very hard. I've been told it will fit without touching on both pipes but It could make it harder to start your bike if it doesn't start easy because of leverage. I picked easier to start over the PIMP look factor.
